Thank You

One day I thought
I had it all
then I took
a great big fall
I hit my head
began to bleed
You'll learn more
The more you read
from that day on
my life has changed.
I no longer can drive
except myself insane
and the dizziness
makes me use a cane.

Can't leave the house
without a friend
Where are they?
Our relationships end.

They abandon me
when I needed them most
Their memories
are just a ghost.

I've made some new
Some far away
Makes it hard to get help
day to day

who've been here for me
your kindness helps
