Thanksgiving
Today is thanksgiving and the
family's all here
Like a family reunion, no one sheds a tear,
The turkey is in the oven, just baking away
It will be in there, cooking all day,
The kids are all playing, He-man and stuff,
Those cute little kids, Life is so rough
Beth is in purple, as cute as can be,
That little darling is a favorite to me.
Brian, the one with the freckly face,
is set at sort of an offbeat pace.
Christopher, the oldest with the broken leg,
spends most of his time, just lying in bed.
Thanksgiving dinner is a joyful event,
Then we'll all go home, and worry about rent.
